Shabdleela — Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and AI Techies, Coimbatore, India ("we", "us"), for playing Shabdleela (शब्दलीला) on Android and iPhone and for buying hint packs in the game. By using Shabdleela you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. Who can play
Shabdleela is made for adults and teenagers. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying hint packs; they accept these terms for you and are responsible for purchases made on your phone.
How we handle data is explained in the Privacy policy.
2. Your progress and account
You can play without an account. Your progress is saved on your phone and backed up to our server, so it can come back after a reinstall or move to a new phone with a transfer code. Signing in with Google, Apple or an email code is optional and lets your progress follow you to any phone.
Keep your transfer codes and your sign-in to yourself: anyone with a valid transfer code can copy your progress. We work to keep backups safe, but we cannot promise that progress will never be lost, for example if you play offline and then lose the phone before the next backup.
3. Free play and ads
The game is free to play. It shows ads served by Unity Ads: a short full-screen ad between stages (never during a puzzle and never in the daily challenge), and optional videos you can choose to watch for free hints and other rewards. The number of free hints, tries and rewards may change over time.
4. Hint packs
Hint packs are optional, one-time purchases that add the stated number of hints to your game. They are not a subscription and nothing renews.
- On iPhone, hint packs are bought through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID under Apple's terms.
- On Android, hint packs are paid inside the game through Razorpay Checkout, by UPI, card or net banking. Prices are shown in Indian rupees, include all applicable taxes, and are shown before you pay.
- Hints are added to your game as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a few seconds. If a payment goes through and the hints have not appeared within 24 hours, write to us with the Razorpay payment ID or App Store order ID and we will add them.
- Hints have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred to another person or sold. They stay with your game's progress, including its backup and your account if you sign in.
- We sometimes give out hint codes for support or promotions. A code can be entered once under Settings → Enter code; it has no cash value and may have an expiry date.
5. Refunds
Hint packs are digital goods delivered straight away, so a purchase cannot be cancelled after the hints are added, and we do not refund a change of mind or hints that have already been used. If something went wrong, we will put it right:
- Android (Razorpay): if you were charged more than once for the same pack, or you paid and the hints never arrived and we cannot add them, write to [email protected] within 7 days of the payment with the Razorpay payment ID (it starts with
pay_and is in Razorpay's receipt). We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. - iPhone (App Store): refunds are handled by Apple under its policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can help you find the order if needed.
6. Acceptable use
Play Shabdleela for your own enjoyment. Please don't:
- try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the game or its servers, or get around its limits, ads or purchases;
- use another person's transfer code or sign-in without their permission;
- sell, share publicly or misuse hint codes, or try to guess them;
- copy the game's puzzles into another product.
We may remove hints or progress obtained by breaking these rules, and refuse service to anyone who abuses the game.
7. Our puzzles
Proverbs, idioms, riddles and Kabir's couplets belong to the shared heritage of the Hindi language. Our selection and arrangement of them, the clues, the explanations and English meanings, the artwork, the Shabdleela name and the game itself belong to AI Techies. We license them to you for personal, non-commercial use in the game.
We check every puzzle, clue and meaning carefully, but some may still contain mistakes or differ from the version you know. If you spot one, tell us and we will look at it. Meanings and explanations are given for enjoyment and learning, not as authoritative reference.
8. Availability
The game works offline, and we work to keep it running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. Chapters, stages, features, rewards and prices may change, and online features such as backup, sign-in and purchases may sometimes be unavailable.
9. Limitation of liability
As far as Indian law allows, AI Techies is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost progress or data, arising from your use of Shabdleela. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for hint packs in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any right you have as a consumer, that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Ending your use
You can stop playing at any time. If you signed in, you can delete your account in the game under Settings → Account → Delete account, and you can ask us to delete the rest of your data (see Delete your Shabdleela data). Deleting your account or data does not refund hint packs already added. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
11. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and AI Techies. Apple and Google are not parties to them and are not responsible for Shabdleela or its support, but each store's own terms also apply to your download and to App Store purchases.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change this page and the effective date at the top. Playing Shabdleela after that means you accept the updated terms.
